It’s been wonderful to be back in the studio after several months where the inside was under construction. I feel so blessed to have such a space to work in, and it has been fairly easy to slide back into a creative space.
I’m currently part way through a set of recursive beads, a process that starts with making a shallow relief texture plate and gradually produces iterations of complex inter-related forms which function first as tools, or models, and ultimately (generations down the line) become finished jewelry pieces. I’m about three weeks into the process now and I have yet to make any finished work. I’ll be back soon with a look at the developing forms.
